Organic proteins: The extrusion swelling process is usually used. The raw material is matured in a high temperature and high pressure extruder, the water instantly evaporates during extrusion, forming a dry, porous spongy structure. After the water is restored they become elastic. Fibrous Protein: A high moisture content extrusion process is used. The material in the extruder under high humidity conditions is strongly cut and cooled, directly forming a moist product with an obvious fibrous silk structure.
